Switching from DX1
There is no live connection to DX1: data moves from export files (CSV, XML or JSON) through the migration center, which maps the columns, runs a dry run with duplicate checks, and can roll a run back while its records are untouched.
A starting column mapping for DX1 exports is included (customers, inventory, historical inventory (sold units), sales transactions, customer-owned vehicles, service history and repair orders, parts inventory). It has not yet been checked against a real DX1 export, so you review every column before anything is imported.
