Planned AI features

The AI assistant you can use today answers questions from read-only lookups. Several larger AI features are planned on top of it. None of them is available yet, and this page will change as they are built.

AI profitability advisor #

An advisor that uses your authorized financial and operational data to find ways to improve profit. Plans include:

• True gross per unit, including acquisition, freight, prep, reconditioning, floorplan and commissions, by unit, model, brand, salesperson, department and rooftop.
• Aging inventory with suggested price changes, models worth acquiring, turnover and cash forecasts.
• Service profitability and technician efficiency, slow-moving parts, and advertising cost per sale.
• Your own strategy settings, such as minimum gross per unit, maximum inventory age, preferred brands and risk tolerance.

Each recommendation would say what to do, why, the supporting data, the expected impact (labeled as an estimate), the risks and whether a manager must approve it. You would be able to accept, reject or save recommendations and see later which ones helped. Financial figures would come from the reporting services, never from the AI model itself.

Daily management brief #

An automatic briefing for managers covering sales, inventory, service and other departments, with a short list of top recommendations. Planned options include:

• Daily, weekly or monthly delivery at a set time in your time zone, by email, in the console or as a push notification.
• Per rooftop or consolidated, with a choice of departments and level of financial detail.
• Follow-up questions straight from the brief ("Why did gross fall yesterday?"), with the same permissions as the brief.
• A separate monthly budget for briefs, with a numbers-only version when the AI budget is used up.

Each person would receive only the data they are allowed to see.

AI usage billing #

Today MotoDealerHQ connects the AI provider for the whole platform and your dealership sets a monthly spending limit (see Budgets and permissions). A planned billing layer would add AI packages to plans, such as included usage, prepaid credits and overage pricing, with charges disclosed up front and a usage breakdown in the console.
