Auction reports
The 19 auction reports, from sell-through and reserve success to revenue, gross profit and auction versus retail, with CSV export and print.
Auction reports show how your auctions perform: how many sell, for how much, how many bidders take part, and whether auctions earn more or less than retail. The numbers use the same definitions as your dashboards, scheduled reports and the AI assistant.

How the numbers are defined #
- Sell-through = sold auctions (verified full payment) ÷ auctions that reached their end.
- Auction revenue = winning bids + buyer premiums + dealer fees of completed purchases. Tax and government fees are not revenue.
- Auction gross profit = revenue − cost basis − seller fee, only for units with an acquisition cost.
- Auction vs retail compares front-end gross per unit (price − cost basis, and − seller fee for auctions).
Test auctions never count, hidden maximum bids are never used, and staff limited to some rooftops see only those rooftops. See metric definitions for the shared auctions.* metrics.
Ask the AI assistant #
If your dealership uses the AI assistant, it can answer auction questions with two read-only lookups: auction performance (results overall or by make, model, vehicle type, duration, starting-bid band or month) and auction candidates (aging retail units with your own auction history for the same make and model). Answers show dates, sample sizes and warnings about small samples. The assistant never sees hidden maximums and never bids or changes an auction.
Tips #
- Compare Reserve success rate with Sell-through rate. Many unmet reserves usually mean reserves are set too high.
- Look at Auction duration performance before choosing how long to run your next auctions.
- Record acquisition costs on your units, or gross profit reports will leave those units out.
