A tour of the dealer console

The dealer console is where your team works every day: leads, inventory, deals, service, parts, auctions, your website and your settings. It lives at dealer.motodealerhq.com and works in any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

Sign in #

1. Go to https://dealer.motodealerhq.com/login.
2. Enter your email and password and select Sign in.
3. If your account uses two-factor sign-in, enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code). See Users, roles and two-factor sign-in.
4. If you belong to more than one dealership, choose the one you want to work in. You can switch later from your user menu.

The dashboard #

1. Main menu. Every area of the console, in groups: Sales, Inventory, Service & parts, Auctions, Marketing, Website, Reports & AI, Finance and Settings. Select a group to open it; the group that holds the page you are on stays open. You only see the pages your role allows and your plan includes.
2. Jump to. Press Ctrl + K (or ⌘ + K on a Mac), or select the search box, and type part of a page name.
3. Notifications. The bell shows how many notifications you have not read, such as new leads assigned to you or replies from customers.
4. Setup checklist. Shows what is left before your website is ready, with a link to each step and to the setup wizard. The card disappears once every step is complete.
5. Preview website. Opens a private preview of your website, including changes you have not published yet. See Preview and publish.
6. Summary tiles. Vehicles in stock, new leads, leads awaiting contact, tasks due, appointments, website traffic, lead conversion and form submissions. Select a tile to open the matching list.

Below the tiles, the dashboard lists recent lead activity and recent account activity. Platform announcements from MotoDealerHQ, when there are any, appear at the top.

Jump to any page #

1. Type part of a page name, or a related word. Typing "repair" finds Repair orders.
2. The list shows only pages you are allowed to open. Use ↑ and ↓ to move, Enter to open a page and Esc to close the palette.

On a phone #

1. Menu. Opens the full main menu as a drawer.
2. Quick bar. Leads, Chat, Tasks and Inventory are one tap away; More opens the same menu as the menu button.

You can also install the console as an app on your phone or computer and get push notifications. See Install the app.

Your account #

Open your user menu (your initials in the top-right corner) to:

• switch dealership, if you belong to more than one;
• open My account to change your name, password and two-factor settings, and to sign out other devices;
• open Notifications, View site or Install the app;
• sign out.
