The theme decides how your website looks. Your branding settings put your logo, colors and contact details on every page. Changing either one never changes your pages, inventory or menus.

Before you start #

  • You need the website.manage permission (see Permissions).
  • Have your logo ready as a PNG, ideally with a transparent background, and a square favicon (512 × 512 pixels).
  • Only upload logos and images your dealership owns or is licensed to use.

Choose a theme #

There are three themes. Each one works for any dealership, but each is tuned for a type of store.

ThemeLookBest for
ThrottleBold and dark, with angled cuts and condensed headings. A top bar lists every location's phone number.Motorcycle, ATV, UTV and powersports dealers
ShowroomClean, light and premium, with a frosted header and rounded buttons.New and used car dealers
Main StreetWarm and friendly, with a centered-logo header.Marine, RV, trailer and mixed-inventory dealers
  1. Open Website › Theme & branding.
  2. Under Theme, select the theme you want.
  3. Select Save theme at the bottom of the page.

  1. Choose a theme. Throttle, Showroom or Main Street.
  2. Logo & favicon. Upload a file or pick one from the media library.
  3. Colors. Primary and accent on every plan; the full palette with advanced branding.
  4. Fonts & header. Heading font, body font, header style and the header button.

Add your logo and favicon #

  1. Under Logo & favicon, select Upload logo, or choose an image you already uploaded from …or choose from media library.
  2. Do the same for the favicon (the small icon in the browser tab).
  3. Select Save theme.

If you have no logo yet, leave the logo empty. The site then shows your dealership name as a text wordmark.

Set colors, fonts and the header #

  1. Under Colors, set Primary (buttons and links) and Accent (highlights and prices).
  2. With advanced branding, you can also set the page background, cards, body text, secondary text, header and footer colors.
  3. Under Typography & header, pick the Heading font, Body font and Header style (Solid bar, Centered logo, or Logo left, call-to-action right). These need advanced branding.
  4. Set the Header button label and Header button link, for example "Shop inventory" and /inventory.
  5. Fill in the Tagline and Footer text.
  6. Select Save theme.
  • Announcement bar. Check Show announcement bar, then add the text and an optional link. The bar sits at the very top of every page. It is a good place for "Open late Thursdays" or a current sale.
  • Reviews. Add a link to your reviews (Read our reviews), plus Leave a review on links for Google, Facebook, Yelp and DealerRater. They feed the footer's Reviews panel and the Reviews & leave-a-review buttons block. Every link must start with https://.
  • Social links. Add your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and LinkedIn addresses. Icons appear in the footer.

See the result on your website #

Your branding shows on every page of the public site. Here is the demo dealership's home page.

Inventory display and payment estimates #

  • Show sold vehicles on the website. Sold units stay visible, marked "Sold". Search engines are asked not to index those pages.
  • Show estimated monthly payments. Adds a payment estimate to vehicle pages and a payment filter to inventory search. Set the example APR, term, down payment and the Payment disclaimer.

Tips #

  • Use the same primary color as your printed materials and social profiles, so the brand looks consistent.
  • After saving, open your site in a new tab to check the result. While the site is still a draft, use the preview link.
  • Upload your logo once in Website › Media with good alt text. You can then pick it from the media library anywhere.
